It isn’t important why you stopped. It matters why you begin.
There are good reasons for quitting things, but sometimes the important thing is to begin…or to start again. You could lament all the reasons why you don’t write. Some of them are valid. Many are reasonable. Most are understandable.
None of them are important.
Spend some time thinking about why you write (or want to write). Doodle a web or make a list. Map your heart or pour out a poem. Spend some time thinking about why you want to write.

I wonder what stories you will share as you start on this writing adventure and what those stories will teach us. Our stories matter! Blessings!

I’m creating a timeline in an attempt to find clarity in the hard journey of our daughter. I’m writing backwards from 2020 until 2008 (when we adopted her). This is a redacted version of 2019: https://ruthayreswrites.com/2020/04/09/2019-steph-timeline-redacted/

Oh me too!!! So much! I am so picky with my produce! I, however, have learned to shop at just one store…easier with Evan, but miss the days when I could go so many places…even just one for the day.

Happy to receive Ruth’s invitation! A great pick-me-up after starting the first week of “home learning.” Wonderful to see many “long-time” friends and discover new friends, too.
Happy Easter!
