Notice small things.
Make a list of 7 things you have noticed. Review your list and challenge yourself to notice even smaller things. Perhaps you noticed the dishes that need hand washed. Look again and learn to notice the way the soap bubbles crackle with tiny rainbows.
The world is full of ordinary moments and when noticed, they become special. Small things are magical. Writers notice the small things that the whole wide world bustles past. Train yourself to pay attention.

Ruth, thank you so much for the invite to write again with my daughter, Michelle and all the others that I’ve missed since not writing for the last year and a half. My post is about my OLW and the small things that we often take for granted.

Hi Everyone, it is wonderful to see some writing friends here! You’ll see what I’m posting during April poetry month on my blog, an explanation intro each time. Most are reflections of this crazy time we’re living in, some more political than others, but all the day-to-day. Here is today’s post: https://www.teacherdance.org/2020/04/april-poetry-month-day-sixteen.html

You’re not intruding! It’s an open community and I hope you’ll pass on the invitation to someone else who might like a little quiet magic. That’s the beauty of this place.

My blog post about noticing. Funny, I’ve had this in my mind to blog since February — when it happened in my learning space. This prompt of noticing was what put it all together for me! Thanks.
