Some things never change.
There might be magic waiting to be discovered in the things that seem to never change. Spend some time thinking about something that’s been a constant in your life. Maybe you always get a new toothbrush on your birthday or you still sit in the same porch swing as you did when you were a child. Maybe you start the day with the same routine or always recite the same prayer or mantra before bed. Perhaps you’ve always stargazed or always put your left sock on first. What in your life is consistent?

Thank you for this invitation. My consistent is the sea. I can’t imagine my life without it.

I didn’t write about consistency this week…but there’s such magic in this prompt, and I want to come back to it.

I wrote about balance this week for Spiritual Journey Thursday* and cross posted it to SOS. I’m looking forward to writing about consistency soon. Perhaps seeking balance IS about consistency, since seeking a balanced life is an ongoing endeavor.
*If any of you would like to join Spiritual Journey Thursday (generally on the first Thursday of the month) or cross post SOS with SJT, our group always welcomes new participants.

I wrote about – One True Sentence: Every Child Needs a Champion – which also happens to be a consistent mantra in my life.

A sentence from a book I read made me stop and think about its truth. https://lcinmo.wordpress.com/2020/07/17/control/

A little late, but I finished my reflections on the sacred. Like Julie, I want to return to this prompt. I love it! Thank you for the encouragement to write. You, Ruth, are consistent in your passion for writing…

I’m slipping in under the wire 🙂 For me one thing that is constant is possibility, and my joy with it.
