open invitation no. 20: just write

Just write.

It’s easy to not-write…at least it is for me. I write all day for my job; I write in a morning journal — every single morning; I write in a draft notebook; I write in a writing notebook. The thing that’s easy for me to not-write is a blog post…writing that is just for me, because I like to write.

There’s a difference between writing what needs done and writing just because. Today I need the reminder that it is okay to just write. And, I have the time to just write. We all do. Just write.

    1. I loved your line: I massage my mindset, seek sources of inner power, look for lenses to change my perspective. This is perfect! I feel this way often and we both use The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and the Horse to gain inner strength. So interesting how one book can affect two women – one in Estonia, one in New Jersey. Just goes to show the power of reading. I must say I’m a little jealous that your school year is back to normal – but I am SO HAPPY for you!
