Don’t be stifled.
What stifles you? It’s not about what stops you, nor what makes things difficult for you. When I made a little list about what stifles me, I found it was all within me.
- getting it right
- not doing things wrong
- feeling like I’m a silly girl in the middle of a cornfield
- thinking I shouldn’t spend time writing my stories
The world likes to stifle storytellers. Don’t be stifled.

The idea of “stifle” led me on quite a journey…
Stop the Stifle thinking…
I didn’t write for ten days. I wrote today and it feels good.
I was inspired by Ruth’s notion of Relentless Hope and Molly’s recent post about her garden. I get so many wonderful ideas reading everyone’s blog posts. I am so grateful to be part of this community. Thank you!
I’m starting to think about holidays.
