Be inspired by spring.
I think words are fun when they can mean different things. Check out all of the definitions for spring.
- Move or jump suddenly or rapidly upward or forward.
- Originate or arise from.
- The season after winter and before summer, in which vegetation begins to appear, in the northern hemisphere from March to May and in the southern hemisphere from September to November.
- A resilient device, typically a helical metal coil, that can be pressed or pulled but returns to its former shape when released, used chiefly to exert constant tension or absorb movement.
[Definition from a Google search.]
The invitation today is to be inspired by “spring.” If you need more ideas, the Merriam-Webster definition is even more in depth, including to pay, as in “I’ll spring for drinks,” and many others.

Happy Spring, All! I wrote of the season as a spiritual journey, involving the finches who nest on my front door:

Fran – you made me cry! So lovely – one tiny blue egg! Behold, I am making all things new (Revelation 21:4-5, ESV).
My post mirrors yours – I was thrilled watching kids compose spring poetry – and I wrote one too!
HAPPY EASTER & PASSOVER to all who celebrate!

Love the plethora of ideas connected to spring. My post can be thought of as being connected to spring now that I read all those ideas and have on my creative thinking hat, lol. But even if you can’t see the connection I hope you enjoy it.

I can’t believe it has been months since I last posted, and yet, I can. It’s been a hard spring with my daughter’s cancer. No do overs – just trying to live in the moment. https://untanglinglifedotblog.wordpress.com/

The four definitions of spring stirred several ideas. The fourth one spoke to me the most today. Writing felt good.

I know I am late for the spring party! I am working on writing a poem a day for poetry month, and my theme is all quilt-related. I used the spring prompt to write a poem about Grandma’s Flower garden.
