Yet another book for me to read! I’m reading Midnight Library now. Thank you Julie. This snapshot of David is so wonderful – so much to enjoy and ponder: David’s eyes rested on his city, and he pressed his lips to Solomon’s hair. “He makes me lie down in green pastures,” he murmured. “He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.”
So intimate and honest. The world indeed keeps revolving for eons – we are just a small part.

It’s not a small moment, but I love capturing our trips in a blog post. You can find a small moment with grandson Robby in the first paragraph and skip to the final three paragraphs for the small moment I shared with Jack!

Ramona – The first time a saw a real live starfish was at Cannon Beach in Oregon. It was magical. Thank you for making me remember. What a lovely post and set of photos! THE BEST PART: “Grandma, you make my elbows laugh!”

We have wonderful memories from a 50th birthday trip to Cannon Beach. It’s a magical place! We explored low tide and had the beach all to ourselves.

Here is my small moment about how my first graders organize books for a new unit of study – https://teachersbooksreaders.com/2021/05/15/look-at-all-those-books-co-constructing-the-classroom-library/

Co-constructing with students is so important and something many teachers fear and steer away from – too messy – too noisy – too much room for mistakes – JUST THE EXACT REASONS TO DO IT! Thank you for this! I love the 1st grader made labels.
