open invitation no. 64: grace

Grace is available if we choose to accept it.

It is simple. Open the post box. Write. Share. If you want some inspiration, here is a quote that rings in my mind in the hard seasons. I only know it because Christy Rush-Levine shared it with me many moons ago.

Glad we’re back, Ruth! I am so happy for the opportunity you give all of us to post and become a community of writers.

We all need a little grace or a lot of it. I am finding it hard this week to be optimistic. AND I pray that God’s grace is with our soldiers and the Afghan people. I wrote a poem this week – I Hear America Weeping.
