Only the pure in heart can make good soup.
[Ludwig van Beethoven]
Soup is good for my soul. I like that it simmers. I like that it gets better with time. I like that it doesn’t take a recipe. And I like the vegetables. Mostly, though, I like soup on an autumn evening when the world is whispering slow down…slow down.
This week the invitation is to write about soup…or about slowing down.
Of course, if there’s something else tugging at you—write that instead!
*Remember, you don’t have to accept this invitation…but I do hope you will accept the invitation to write. Sharing our stories is magical.

Me too! Soup sounds great – but alas I wrote about cats and writer’s block!

lol … soup. My brother makes the absolute best soups. And he has a spectacular heart. I wrote about kindness. 😀

While tonight’s soup was simmering, I wrote a story that’s been bubbling for several weeks.

The school life takes up most of my time, shrinking the writerly life into a tiny pebble. Planning to take my writing time back. https://justforamonth.blogspot.com/2021/10/continuing-where-we-left-off-2.html
